Beeswax wrap workshop

Great workshop today making beeswax wraps. Priscilla Gibbs led us through the process and then we started to produce our own, very successfully too - and of course followed by a delicious afternoon tea! Thanks Karen for hosting us and to Priscilla for providing all the materials.

Anzac Day at Titahi Bay

Our society always takes part in the Anzac parade from RSA to the Cenotaph. This year Lorraine Arnold and Karen Blyde made a stunning tribute out of drift wood and painted metal poppies. Members carried the tribute in the parade and placed it with others at the Cenotaph. This was a very moving moment.

Succulents for Easter at Bunnings

Our Society had a Saturday stall at Bunnings in which we provided information about succulents to the public. Over 40 children, and a few adults, potting up their own succulents to take home - as well as an Easter egg! Fun for all.
